ANNOUNCMENT & ACTIVITIES

BOOK DRIVE 2025
The Learning Resource Center (LRC) successfully held Book Drive 2026, a free book distribution initiative for all students. This program gives away discarded but still usable books from the LRC collection to support learning, creativity, and sustainability within our academic community.
Although these books are no longer part of the active collection, they remain valuable resources that can continue to:
Support your academic studies
Inspire new ideas and perspectives
Be reused or repurposed
Find a new home on your personal bookshelf
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this initiative a success!

We are pleased to announce that the Learning Resource Center now provides access to EBSCO’s online research databases. This subscription gives students, faculty, and researchers access to credible, peer-reviewed journals, e-books, and academic resources to support coursework, research, and lifelong learning.
Visit the LRC or access the database through our official platform to start exploring quality scholarly content today!
Saint Joseph Institute of Technology is now subscribed to EBSCO!

ALLINET, INC
CERTIFIED INSTITUTION MEMBERSHIP
The Academic Libraries Information Network in Mindanao (ALINet) is a resource sharing program started in March 9, 1988 when a group of five academic librarians met to discuss areas of mutual concern. Out of this meeting was envisioned the need to pool resources and work together for a common goal. Then on September 9, 1988, after a series of meetings, the Cagayan de Oro Cooperating Academic Libraries (CCAL) was formally organized and it consisted of five academic libraries from the following institutions: Cagayan Capitol College (now Capitol University), Cagayan de Oro College, Lourdes College, Mindanao Polytechnic State College, and Xavier University. The inter-library cooperation involved two basic services: bibliographic and physical access to each library's holdings and cooperative catalog.
